how to concentrate while studying

I already posted various methods in study tips series.I will try to show example using this topic.
I will mark words you can speak , in bold and things you need to skip , as normal font.


While reading a topic , try to connect various paragraphs.

Like if in first paragraph , you will most likely get definition , second paragraph will give some more information.

Try to connect these paragraphs in your own words.

Also try to draw/write summary of the paragraph in your own limited words or some diagram which is easy to understand.

Do this for all paragraphs.

As you read , instead of moving your pen or finger along the paragraph , place your pen besides paragraph and keep on drawing or writing as you read more lines.

 If you cannot deduce anything from line , just read next line and try to do the same.

Also , you dont need to speak in mind , the whole line.

You need to skip things which you dont need or your mind can automatically comprehend.

You need to skip a's , the , ahs , have , and , words like this.  

Dont speak them in your mind , just glance at them .

You can speak important words which are the essence of topic.
